Worship at Sashabaw Presbyterian Church
The heart of our Church family is the worship of Almighty God. Worship is our response to what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.
Most weeks our worshiop takes place in our santuary but we also gather outside in our beautiful woods or around a cozy bon fire (when the weather permits).
Our Rhythm
We believe that in our busy and stressful world finding space to pause and open ourselves to the Creator can be difficult. Because of this belief we have developed a rhythm in our worship which provides not only space but also different modes of worship to help each person find their way to meaningful worship. Our Sunday worship services on the 1st, 3rd and 4th weekends of each month tend to be creative, yet traditional. The Gospel is proclaimed, prayers are offered and the community joins together in acts of thanksgiving and adoration. Saturday evening services, held on the 2nd weekend, are more contemplative and include elements of evening prayer, interactive prayer stations, silence, music, time for individual reflection and renewal. Sundays on the 2nd weekends are Sabbath days and times for rest and play, connecting with God, family and community and doing small acts with great love, grace and gratitude..
